The copy trading that works on Polymarket US
Taildraft watches public traders on Polymarket, finds the same market on your Polymarket US account, and places a scaled-down version of their bet — in seconds, inside limits you set. Every other copy tool asks you to connect a crypto wallet, which a Polymarket US account doesn't have. This one uses the official US developer API.
Your bets stay in your own Polymarket US account. We never hold your funds.
Typical gap between the trader's bet and yours, measured across 2,400+ copies.
Game winners, spreads and totals matched automatically. Full-game markets only.
To run every trader in paper mode for as long as you like, with the same rules as live.
Built for Polymarket US
Copy trading on Polymarket is built around connecting a crypto wallet. A Polymarket US account isn't a wallet — it's a regulated, identity-verified exchange account with its own API, its own fee schedule and no wallet to connect. Anything that starts with "connect your wallet" stops there.
Built for polymarket.com, where a wallet signs for trades. There is nothing for them to connect on Polymarket US, so your US balance and positions stay out of reach.
A Key ID and Ed25519 secret from polymarket.us/developer — the path Polymarket US documents for its own API. Every request is signed. Trading permission only: the key cannot deposit, withdraw or transfer.
Traders worth copying have public records on international Polymarket. We read those bets, find the same game on Polymarket US — winners, 3-way soccer, spreads and totals — and place the full-game version in your account. If US doesn't list it, the copy is skipped and the reason logged.
Taildraft is not affiliated with Polymarket. It uses public market data and the documented Polymarket US API, with a key you create and can revoke at any time.
How it works
Create a developer key at polymarket.us/developer and paste the Key ID and secret. They're encrypted at rest and used only to place the copies you've authorised. No deposits, no withdrawals, no transfers — the key can't move your money.
Browse traders by the only record that matters for copying: how their bets did when held to the final result, losing bets included. Each one starts as a paper bot so you watch before you pay.
Budget per trader, maximum per bet, minimum price, daily spend cap, loss limit. Taildraft checks for new bets every 30 seconds, around the clock, and emails you when something needs you.
Trader research
Most leaderboards rank traders on total profit, which includes bets you can't copy and profits they took by trading out early. Taildraft ranks what's left after that: full-game favourites, held to the result, with worthless-expired bets counted as the losses they are.
| Trader | Settled bets | Win rate | Per $ held | Exits early | Copyable / wk | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| highlifeNFL · MLB · CS2 | 305 | 77% | +20.3% | 31% | 63 | Watch on paper |
| sbsignerSoccer · Tennis | 335 | 71% | +23.7% | 3% | 192 | Watch on paper |
| dkwendwEsports · NBA | 175 | 67% | +21.4% | 9% | 202 | Watch on paper |
| flamepyroMLB totals | 293 | 70% | +10.6% | 7% | 25 | Watch on paper |
| rev9Soccer · UFC | 269 | 65% | -3.1% | 0% | 74 | Below bar |
Every record shown is a trader's own history, after an estimated 3% in copying costs. A record is evidence, not a forecast.
Guardrails
These are on by default, because every one of them exists for a reason we learned the expensive way.
A trader who bets the same game five times can't drag a quarter of your budget into it. Each game is capped at 25% of what that bot has to work with.
Underdog bets under 50¢ are skipped unless you turn them on. They're where copy accounts quietly bleed: the price implies a hit rate the bets don't deliver.
Once a trader has bought both sides of a game, they're trading the swings, not picking a winner. Taildraft stops copying that game instead of holding one leg to the whistle.
Full-game markets only — never a first-half line standing in for a full-game bet. If the price here is far from what the trader paid, that's a different question, and the copy is skipped.
A bot pauses itself when settled results fall past your limit — but never before 15 finished games, so a normal cold streak doesn't bench a trader who's fine.
When the trader takes money off the table, your position is reduced in proportion — not left sitting because the copy only knew how to buy.
Pricing
You pay for the software. Winnings and losses are yours, settled in your own account — which also means we have no incentive to push you into more bets than you asked for.
Watch everything, risk nothing.
For following a handful of traders with real money.
For running a full stable of traders.
Polymarket US charges its own trading fee on every bet — roughly 2.4–2.9% of what you stake, depending on the price. That's paid to the exchange, not to us, and it's deducted inside your account.
Straight answers
We don't know, and nobody selling you copy trading does. A trader's record is evidence about the past; it is not a forecast. Most people who copy traders lose money, the exchange's fee works against you on every bet, and a losing streak is normal even for a trader with a real edge. Taildraft's job is to copy accurately, size sensibly and stop when your limits say stop. Start in paper mode and judge for yourself.
Plenty. Polymarket US doesn't list every game or offer every bet type, so player props, parlays, map handicaps and whole leagues simply aren't available. In practice a fraction of a trader's bets can be mirrored, and you should expect quiet days.
Your bets are placed on Polymarket US, with a developer key you create there. The traders you follow are public accounts on international Polymarket, which is where their records come from — you don't need an account there, and nothing is bridged between the two. If you want to trade on polymarket.com itself, Taildraft isn't the tool for that.
You do. Bets are placed in your own Polymarket US account with an API key that can trade but cannot deposit, withdraw or transfer. Cancel any time and the key stops being used; your positions and balance are unaffected.
Traders are checked every 30 seconds and a copy is typically placed within about 20 seconds of being seen. You will not get the trader's exact price. Across our own trading the difference has averaged about half a cent, and copies that would land far from the trader's price are skipped rather than chased.
Taildraft only works where Polymarket US itself operates, and your account is subject to their rules and your state's. Event contracts aren't available everywhere, and age limits vary. Check before you sign up.
Bots stop rather than guess. Unmatched markets, thin order books, a failed order or an API outage all end in a skipped copy with the reason recorded, and you can read every decision a bot made, including the ones where it did nothing.
